Another ABS/TRACS light question

Hi guys!

I’ve searched and read a lot of material on this but I’m just looking for some conformation on what the problem may be.

I have a manual 850R, for the first time last night the above 2 lights came on after I started the car. Regularly, there was a noise coming from the engine bay. Sounded electro-mechanical...if you know what I mean?
When I pressed the brake pedal while it was making the noise I could feel the vibrations through the pedal.

ABS ECU??

If it is, can I remove the ECU and get it repaired and while it’s removed drive the car? Obviously I understand it will not have abs!

The vibration is usually the abs self testing. Usually happens around 15mph ish.
Where abouts are you located?

Actually Im based in Limerick! LOL!
You are not driving a silver T5 by any chance?!

Today I started it up and no lights, it was self testing (making the noise) on and off for about 5 minutes. Stopped making the noise and the lights came on
TBH the noise its making dosnt sound right at all

Silver T5......nope. Red 855R!
Seeing as you're local might be just easier to repair it and hope for the best!
