Service light resetting?

Does anyone know why my Draper unit won't reset the service light on my brother's ME7 2.0 LPT? Applications include S70,V70 but C70 not mentioned and it doesn't specify model years. Bought it for my Last 850 and works fine. Is this an ME7 issue?

Hi Rob,need it for my 850 T5. They're not expensive,think I paid about 40 quid for mine about 18 months ago and that included delivery.

To reset the Service light, try this

Hold in the "Trip" reset button and turn the ignition on so that the dash lights up and keep hold of the reset button till the Service Light flashes. Release the trip button and turn the ignition on and off, and it SHOULD reset.

This only works for 1998 onwards cars (ME7's)

The bit in red must be done within 4 seconds of the service light starting to flash.
