Reverse Lights

Hi
I have been having problems with my reverse lights, would stop working sometimes.
If i wiggled the gear knob (MANUAL GEARBOX) they would sometimes work.
This weekend they stopped all together!
I think it is prob the reverse light switch, but wanted to know what other people think.
I know the Autos are slightly different and have a PNP switch instead.
Could it be something to do with the gear linkage?
Hope its just the switch?

Whats the easiest way to change it?
Do you remove the air filter box and go in from there?

Probably the best way, you'll have more light. Plus the airbox is really easy to remove.

Anyone know what size spanner/socket i will need for the switch?

Hi all. Got a new reverse light switch today from Euro carparts.
£11 inc VAT. Managed to fit it without removing the air cleaner box, but was a bit tight.
All now working again, if anyone needs to change one in the future, you will need a 22mm deep socket on a long extention.
