Its surprisingly easy. You just need balls.
Balls and money.

And space. Balls, money and space.

Fibreglass isnt too bad to work with. It stinks but its not as bad as I thought it would be. Wiring is pretty straightforward.
It gets harder when you go into the big sound comps that they do as you need so more complex theory knowledge.

I was thinking of putting my headunit in the centre vents like he did but I am planning on putting one into the sunvisor instead.
I still think my screen looks better than his :)

Some good install work here
http://www.mp3car.com/vbulletin/show-off-your-project/
Some crap too.
Its carPC more than pure stereo stuff. Check the worklogs too for ongoing stuff.

There was someone on here who's name escapes me at the moment who was big on custom installs.

Send Rufe a PM - he does the genuine volvo Cubby hole or CD holder for about 18 quid

LINKY!!! (http://forums.t5d5.org/index.php?showtopic=3463)

IIRC they only come in grey (x70 dash colour) but will fit far better than something off fleabay
