ECU swap old for new

Hello i have seen a rica Ecu for sale
its for an auto , like mine

but its for an earlier year car 94 and mines a 97

as far as i know they have different diagnostic systems
are thing like air con / tracs etc run off the Ecu

so will it work on my car ?

also is there any other questions i should ask the seller

probably not, you need to ask what number is on it, but pretty sure the answer is no on that one. Also if the car didn't have climate /aircon and your one does , that would be a factor.

Thanks mate , yep after having a good old read , it looks like its not the right ecu

i think i am going to get mine remaped, as its is a very late type of ecu

Depending where you or you could send it to him hamish is doing rica 280/304 for 150 quid, for a budget you cant get cheaper matched to your car
