how much do the front seats weigh

just after a an accurate weight of the front seats from an 850 (preferrably non-motorised one's) so i can see the weight difference between factory & the bucket seats i've got

p fandango, do you know how much weight you've lost through stripping your car, as i'm think about doing the same. Is it possible to get them down to 1300kg with out going mad? e.g without lossing the whole dash, air-con etc?

items i've weigh'd

window motors (x4) 3.0kg
spare wheel 17.2kg
rear seat back 21.9kg
rear seat base 6.5kg
rear seat belts 3.3kg
screen wash bottle (full) 5.7kg old bottle 1.5kg new bottle
front seats including runners & harnesses 15.7kg new seats

possible weight saving 106.1kg (i've guestimated a 25kg saving per front seat)

total vehicle weight after stripping 1305.9kg

so if you can get the car down to a basic spec with none of the luxuries then with a basic strip down you can get very close, i'm sure the extra 6kg & weight of the aircon can easily be got from somewhere

my target is 1100kg :pimp2:
