dis anyone know how to reset the service light on a 53 plate s40

1-Turn ignition key to position 2(makes all the dash lights come on but doesn't engage starter motor)

2- Hold in the odometer button for about 10-15 seconds until the service light starts to blink, take your finger off the odometer button as soon as the service light starts to flash.

3- Turn ignition off then start your car as normal and hopefully that's it job done!

Might take a couple of tries before you crack it, remember take your finger off the button the moment the service light flashes.

I hold in the trip meter reset button, then turn ign to position two (all lights on), then as soon as the service light starts to flash turn off the ign and then release the trip meter button. Turn on ign and start engine and the service reset light is reset!
