Anyone replaced their spark plug leads, dizzy or rotor arm with non genuine Volvo items, and if so, is there any noticeable difference between these and the genuine parts

There are lots of better lead sets in the aftermarket better than volvo. But when it comes to cap & rotor if you have a genuine cap next to a cheap after market one (CI,INTERMOTOR, ect) you can see the differance in quality and weight. Keep it OE on caps and rotors...IMO......
Thanks
Mark....

KERR NELSON is one of the bigger manufactures they box the leadsets for LUCAS , XL . CHAMPION , INTERMOTOR ect.ect cant think of anymore at the moment. If you go for a set of aftermarket leads make sure you go for the OE type fitting ones. All these companies will do a std replacement or the OE type. You need to find a good local motor factor. Who is a member of the GAU or IFA then you know they wont be selling cheap chinese crap IMO...
