so as promised a pic of what iv been playing with on amber it still needs a bit of work and iv got new pipe to replace the black one pictured but got to get some silicone joints really however these will do for now.
iv also relocated the airfilter so its now towards the front and iv got pipe ready so i can bring a feed straight into it

http://i111.photobucket.com/albums/n130/calibra16vuk/Picture-2.jpg

im hoping this will give amber a bit better throttle response as it now has a straighter passage for the air to flow

i must say it doesn't look pretty, but aslong as it works & your happy with it then what more could you want (& i bet it cost a bit less than the £200 my RIP kit cost). Did you notice any difference once you'd fitted it?

callyuk
Wednesday 17th June 2009, 21:46
yea i know its not pretty but will get tarted up along the way. have noticed a difference yet as i havent had chance to properly try it and im also going to fit the larger pipe across the top of the engine before i do give it a proper go. but in work now till friday so its going to have to wait till at least then

Wednesday 17th June 2009, 21:46

had a chance to give it a proper try today and tbh hasnt made that much of a difference although does seem to have sorted my boost spike problem
Did come across a problem though at fist it was blowing off the boost pipes all over so iv had to double up on the hose clamps in order to stop them comming apart
