What are they signs of a failed/failing Cabin Temp Sensor?

Orange flashing lights on the Climate Control after you start up. I was getting the initial blast of air, then the lights flashing. It could be other things, but after getting a regas (thinking it was low coolant) and replacing the blower motor, I had the codes checked at Readview, and it turned out to be the cabin sensor.

Dead fiddly to take out initally, but I stripped mine, and WD40'd it, and its now working great :D
