****volvo turbo upgrade???****

hi guys just luckin 4 sum advice on what turbo upgrade would suit my car and were would i source one from,i have a 1996 850 t5r-manual running standard boost k+n panel filter 2.5" exhaust cat back and superchip so really just looking for what turbo and intercooler combo would work best for power gains on stock internals

for stock internals probley a td04-19t but the map would have to be progressive meaning low boost at low revs

cheers lads any ideas were to find these internals are they a standard thing from a different volvo? bit new to the t5 scene

Just order one from a tuner,nothing hard about it.

You will get charged through the nose from a tuner for a 18t or 19t upgrade. 16t upgrades when set up correctly can produce some very good results. Tim Williams has been seeing some excellent results from the 16t builds he has been producing for his customers in the 300hp region regularly.

well a new 18t turbo cost about 800euros and then you'll have to fit bigger injectors and a custom ecu upgrade wich isn't too expensive if you have an
MTE flashed one.

300bhp is only possible with an complete exhaust system aswell(like mine)

well cheers for ur advice lads just need to sort it out seen as it decided 2 die today after a mishap involving a cupra r and a long stretch of road :-(
