the car has sat for a few weeks with a flat battery and today we decidede to service it and start it
replaced the spark plugs leads and dizzy cap, put in a new air filter then tryed to jump start the car with jumps leads but nothing the car isnt wanting to turn over atall.

is it the immobilser?or could it be someyhing else?

cheers in advance

hi
is it manual or auto,
if auto then make sure the gear stick is in neutral or park,
if the jump leads are thin poor quality leads then they may struggle to get enough power to the car,
if the starter has jammed then it will just click or do nothing,
if the battery is flat (ie leads not giving enough power) then it wont go,
im guessing the engine doesnt even spin over.
probly starter stuck if its sat for a wile,
if its spinning over then check all the parts you changed or touched as if you have forgotten something (ie coil lead) then the engine will just spin over & not fire up...
if the battery is flat in the alarm remote then yes the immobiliser may be an issue

try giving the starter a tap with a hard object while someone turns the key (be carefull tho) keep hands clear lol.
sounds like the battery or starter,
put car in gear & hand brake off & try rocking the car back & forward to see if starter is jammed in,rocking may free it.
have you tryed jumping from a booster pack battery ,if you charge the original battery overnight so its got some power in it to help when the leads are on it,unless the battery is f'@#kd which is why its not taking any power....was the battery disconnected while the car sat that time,if a wire has been left of the battery it wont help, check the earth lead from the battery to where it bolts to the engine/gearbox.
use another wire or lead to make a second earth lead from neg post to engine.

try recharging the old one 1st before you spend money on a battery.
unless you can borrow one to try lol.
im assuming the engine isnt seized cos that would stop it turning over,
again put it in gear & try pushing it,see if it moves.

its on axle stands at the back currently.
it isnt turning over there is absolutely nothing happening apart from the pump making a noise.

ok...in that case then get a socket on the crank shaft pulley bolt & turn the engine manualy to elliminate the seized engine theory.
i still think it might be the starter motor,or the supply to the starter,
your gona have to check deeper
