OK, my drivers door wasn't to healthy, after thinking about it & getting lucky, i found a door with the same paint code.
I asked here as to how is a door removed etc..... the new door had been removed by removing its hinges, bad news we thought. However, snoop69's idea of remove my door then take my door hinge off & put it back on the new door using the 'dirt' on the new door as a location guide. We left the hinge thats bolted to the car in place & removed the door by removing the size 8 Torx bolt.

Nasty eh?? when the door was done with & put in my boot for disposal trust me it is worse than it looks & it looks nasty!!!!
Any way, after refitting the hinges to the door, time to hang........

Also, the paint match isnt 100%, I wonder how many shades of Volvo 419/11 Silver Sand Volvo did? Never the less, it WILL match after time, paint is planned. Just for now I'm very happy with the result. No rust & Project 'tidy the T5' is under way. Few more jobs to do til it's done.

Silver sand Is a damn nice colour but it is a pig to match up, I found this out when I had to repaint a few panels on my last car.

looks good dude!! when i swapped my passenger door few weeks ago(wish i hadnt now) took me a good 4trys to get it aligned ok,..swage lines are a few mm out and then after all that it seems the top rear corner has been pulled out so it isnt sealing properly.

Nice fit and first time as well! :)

As for the original that was very seriously rusty never seen an 850 look that bad before, has it been repaired previously?

seemed that it was repaired for some reason, badly repainted. Ive never seen an 850 with such rust either. Never mind. 1 more dent & some scratches & I'm all shiny again. lol
