hi ya'll.

just been offered a near mint 130k 940 estate, got an issue wiv the auto box, not sure wot the issue is, so is there any common faults, and also wot gearbox is it running (its a 2 litre) and is it possible to convert to manual?

Hello im sure the 940 blocks are same or simlair to the 7series and 240series as for changing it to a manual anything is possible but depends on money and how much knoledge you have also if you were wanting to change from auto to manual you best bet would be to but a cheeps 940 manual and them you have every part for the conversion

cheers for that dont think im going to take on the conversion im ok with the spanners, but that seems a bit much of a challenge lol.
