Fitting V70 tail lights

I'm getting some V70 rear clusters, are they just a straight sawp, and do you need to swap the top and bottom bits, or will a V70 upper part fit with an 850 bottom part....?

Depending on the condition of your lights you can either swap the whole lot or just the tops (that's the bits that's different). Make sure you get the bulb holders as well as apparently they're different and the 850 ones won't fit the V70 lights(So I got told).

Surely craig if they sell you the lights they have no need for the bulb carriers so would include them as well ?

A good mod as I hate orange indicators.

They'll fit no problem. Make sure you get a proper matched pair or they will look odd as the plastic loses its gloss over time. The 850 bulb holders will fit with the use of a stanley knife to chop some of the plastic away- no drama, easily done. Did mine on my '96 R. Looked mint.

They make a big cosmetic improvment imo.Tight as a nuns chuff to get to all the nuts but well worth doing.

Thanks all, pay for mine tomorrow off ebay, asked if i got the bulb holders just to make sure, only had one bottom light, will look odd for a while coz mine look as though they've been brillo padded!!, looking for a clean one to finish.

They turned up today, £30 for two top pieces, delivered, with bulb holders, and bulbs, and not a mark on em.... Top banana... :D
