I've seen mention of 18" wheels on the S60R, mine however has 17" wheels, which are correct?

I have the 5 spoke alloys with the R emblem in but they are 17"?

Confused.

Yours are still Pegasus, just 17's instead of 18's. I assume the 18"s are an option when the car is bought new.

Ah, so both were available?

18"s on the european market release R's, 17"s on the american market release.

Volvo do sell both to each market, though as an option you can reduce the rim size or increase it accordingly.

I'm sure someone will be able to offer anmore consice answer, but that is my take on the issue.

You'll probably get a better ride quality out of the 17"s anyway!

Yep. The 18"s tend to be more popular but the 17"s more comfy so I've heard. Both look great I think, I want a set for my T5.

Thanks!

I don't think I'll be changing them for 18's after my last experience. I'll stick with the ride on the 17's rather than the slightly better looks.

Just need to get mine refurbished now, they're a bit tatty.

Rubber for the 18"s is soo much dearer, you'll be sniffing £200 a tyre for good ones!

No, I still pay less than £100 a corner (fitted) for my tyres, and I don't fit cr@p tyres ;) :P
