I fitted a set of 17" Team Dynamics Pro Race 1.2 in anthracite today, with Goodyear Eagles in 225/45 x 17
I might have to get the C70 steering stops as there seems to be light rubbing at full lock.

Car is filthy, but pics anyway :)

Nice, looks tethey-esk! Multi-spokes always suit the estates very well!

I get some rub oth the front too, fitted some spacers to remedy it instead, keeps the circle a bit tighter!

Thanks.

Never thought about spacers, what size did you use?

Started at 10mm, still a touch of rub on full lock, so upped to 16mm.

Ebay will get you 41mm bolts @ £1.99 each (at least I did) if that's a 10mm thread then I cannot guarentee you'll get the bolts as easy.

My new spacers should arrive tomorrow!

www.venommotorsport.com for the spacers, they go over 16mm if you want to go mad!

I'm told that widening the track will actualy IMPROVE the circle! No proof of that yet!

The tyres I have on my 17's are 215/40's and I have no rub at all.

Yeah, but that extra 5 can make the difference in rub!

The Pegs I had did not rub one bit, but I put that down to the hub depth.

They sat quite far off the hub with deep sunk bolts, the orestes sit quite shallow off the hub, so I'm guessing it would help with a set of good spacers!

Yosser, I'll post some pics once I get the spacers on (and some before!) so you can have a squint!

Hi Jase

yes, I lowered it 35mm a couple of months ago. It looks a bit more obvious with these wheels though (I think!?)
