I'm going to be listing my Blaupunkt DX-R52 SatNav head unit on eBay over the next few days. If anyone is interested then please make ma an offer beforehand.
The unit will be supplied with a copy of the Tele Atlas 2003/2004 disk and the full instruction manual. There is no cage (can be bought new for a tenner from any auto audio store) or GPS ariel (£20 on eBay) as these were left in the car when I sold it.
Unit has CD and Radio although the CD can't be used when Navigation is in operation. However, it is changer compatible so if you get a CD changer to go with it you can listen to CD's and navigate at the same time. There's a smart single DIN 5 disk changer available for this unit so both can be mounted in your double DIN slot (I don't have this changer - you'd have to get it separately).
It provides visual and voice directions to your destination. I have used this for a good few months and have found it to be both accurate and useful.
Fitting is very easy as the stereo uses a standard ISO connection so all you'll need is an adaptor lead to convert your loom to ISO if it isn't ISO already. If you want to get the best from the unit you can also wire in the speed pulse but this isn't entirely necessary.
I can fit it if required if you want to come and collect it. If you wanted me to fit it I can also fit a mobile handsfree at the same time if you brought one along.
