What, no Autologic Software Mods ?

I was informed by my local friendly Volvo specialist the other day that they can no longer perform software updates using their autologic system as there is some kind of legal battle ongoing with Volvo.

I was to have the nasty 'auto-neutral' function disabled, but alas they say they are unable to do this at the present time, although they can still do remaps! (wtf!).

So, does anyone know how/where I can get the nasty 'auto-neutral' function disabled ? Do Volvo dealers do it ?

Have you tried DPA in New Basford? They have a computer and can interrogate the software.

Yes - it was Dave that told me of the legal issue(s). Having said that, he connected the V70 up and discovered that the Geartronic update I was after was not one affected by the legal wrangle - so I had the update done!

Indeed deedie, DPA have almost kept me in a Volvo even if I leave the brand I will always see if Dave wants to work on it!
