cheers pnut my boost gauge when floor it reads up to 12/13 psi is this good then and could it go up anymore,cheers

Not unless you have a chip which is adding some extra fuel!

Stock 96 T5 shoudl b 9.6 Psi.

Based on that mate you are boosting 0.89 BAR....seems low as anything for a RICA 310.

My T4's RICA is 1.2 BAR which is 17.4psi to put it into perspective :(

my mte boosts to between 1.3 & 1.4 bar..... so yer, you have a problem somewere

intercooler pipe leak
wastegate actuator weak
recirculating valve split/weak
pcv pipe leaking
inlet manifold gasket leaking
evap valves/pipes split
vacuum tree leaking
exhaust restriction/cat breaking down

that should give you a few ideas ;)

.....not very accurate boost guage bought cause it has pretty backlights....
