I'm a big fan of the 90's top gear episodes, and theres a legend under the user of "ultra 86" who recently has been uploading loads of original full episodes to streetfire.net

Unfortunately as of yet i still havn't found the 850 T5 review, however in the last two days he's uploaded the episode where they first tested the S/V40, and a very breif look at the 850 (also includes a feature on all the oldskool escorts for anyone who's into that)

and even better an episode where they put BTCC drivers of the time into all the road going equivalents (cavalier,850,320i,155,MI16,626) :D unfortunately the 850 is not a T5, and does come last (blame tiff!!), but still a serious worthwhile watch...

I have sent him a message asking if he has the episode with the original clarkson 850 T5 review, where i've heard he refers to it as the "terminator" and i will keep my eyes peeled and will let you know if this illusive footage appears (fingers crossed).

I doubt they will care much, or even encourage the memory of the old format. Must be turning into an old codger cos it's nice to see old Willy Wollard again instead of the current jerk-fest aimed at the X-Factor viewers

well the bloke thats been uploading only seems to be missing a few from 95/96 (typical) but hes now uploaded most of 1997, which includes the full review of the C70, another very rare find.....
