PM Rufe for a discounted price on a genuine item. He is in the traders section if you have a good look.

Hi

All prices that follow are for genuine volvo brand new items. I have included the bearing price too, in case you require it, though generally its a false economy not to change while the clutch is being done. It may also be worth your while considering changing the rear main crankshaft seal too, though again the choice is yours.

CLUTCH KIT: [271810]
Retail Price £230.00 / Our Price £167.90

RELEASE BEARING: [9181780]
Retail Price £45.78 / Our Price £33.41

REAR MAIN CRANK OIL SEAL: [9458178]
Retail Price £12.66 / Our Price £9.24

Total Postage for all the above parts will be: £10.00 with DHL. The order would be dispatched the next working day if ordered by 4:30pm.

If you wish to go ahead and place this order then please call me on our direct parts telephone number, 01792 790066, to make the payment and to provide delivery details. We are open between 9am and 5pm Monday to Friday.

Thanks very much,

Simon

how is it your able to offer discount rufe? when i worked at volvo i obviously got discount, but if the parts department where just handing out discounted bits i'm sure they would of got the sack, you must be in a very relaxed dealership (i used to work for Mcnaughton Ross)

no the parts manager is fully behind this. basically i put it to him that i could sell a lot more parts as long as i could offer maximum discount. i treat all our online customers as one trade customer, not as individual customers, and this 'one' online customer spends enough to justify the discount we give. add to this the fact that i would say we are a pretty relaxed dealership compared to many others then i am able to offer a very good discount to our online customers, as proven above with the prices i have quoted for this clutch.

Hope that helps

Simon :)

850r clutch from what i have read are capable upto the 400bhp mark, so are quite adequate for most of us, i think there just over £200.

otherwise they do paddle clutches on ebay, but they are not cheap.

mines 308bhp at mo wanting to get to around 400bhp so hopefully they are right about what it can handle. Rufe wat price can u get 850 r clutch for. Or better to get paddle clutch £300.
