Gave my ITG panel filter a clean this evening, but i dont have the ITG oil for it, however i do have K&N oil, i take it im ok to use this ??

ITG panel filter does not need oiling!! AFAIK. I run one for years and years (I finally replaced it when the rubber edge got damaged). Just wipe with a cloth.

The oil will knacker the Maf.

Mine's been running an ITG for 45k (installed at 100k) and the MAF's still absolutely fine. And yes, I do oil mine.

I clean mine every service, I soak it in neat TFR and then spray it out backwards with hot water leaving it to dry for a few days before re-oiling it with ITG spray. The amount of crap and sand that comes out of it is shocking. Once oiled massage it in with your fingers before wiping off any excess with kitchen towel.
PFV used to do the spray can of ITG oil, don't seem to do it anymore. An ITG stockist should be able to source it for you I should imagine.
