Realisticaly it depends on how you drive mate. Both are good, but id be more inclined to go with the toyos, altho my proxys are as slippy as hell with the roads like they are at the mo.Ive got pirrelli nero zeros on the rear & they havnt slid once...maybe worth a try.

I'd highly recommend...

Kumho Ecsta Sports

I have just fitted 4 all in for £210.00

They are directional, quiet and thus far been very grippy.

(Just completed an 800 mile Christmas run and could not fault them)

They incorporate a rim protector too.

They come out well in Autocars tyre tests too.

On wear its much down to how you drive - 850's do like front tyres!

Cheers

I run Yoko Prada Spec 2 on mine and the wife has Toyo T1R on her's the Toyo's wear better but have less wet and dry traction and slightly lag behing the Yoko's in heavy braking stability.

If you want long life from a tire neither of these are for you though.

It comes about by them not being grippy and causing a second crash last night..... Vredestein Quatrac3/Wintrac are king...... :worship:

I had Toyo Proxies T1-S and thought they were pretty good, wet or dry....

Pirelli P-Zero Nero are what a friend of mine with a 415bhp rwd cossie swears by...

I'm a stickler and for performane, duarability, and wet driving ability, factored in to cost, I'd still go for P-6000 Pirellis....

P6000s gave no wet traction whatsoever on my T5. I'm going back to Toyos in the next few weeks. The T1S had softer sidewalls but have been remedied on the T1R with stiffer sidewall so hopefully they will provide more grip for my car.
