nice brakes.. not too many Volvo's going around with the 320mm factory upgrade from what I can tell.. or the Ohlins adjustable suspension as they were pretty expensive options when the cars were new.. I would say that if Nath has them on his car then he's very lucky! lol!!..

Not so lucky when he has too replace them though, especially if he goes like for like.

Anyone know how much they are?, would be interesting to compare them against a Brembo upgrade..

Cool, that's a damn good price for discs that size. I Wonder if you can buy the discs cross drilled and grooved from other suppliers.

the PFS kit isn't the same, the PFS 320mm kit is intended for S60/V70 not 850's. If you also look at yours you've got a seperate alloy centre bell while the PFS kit is a single piece disc

i noticed that but just assumed it was because they were a different make of disc.
as for fitment, can you use V70 parts on an 850? i thought they were basically the same car.
i should still be able to fit the PFS discs on mine should,nt i?

850's and P1 x70's share a lot of similarities. That PFV upgrade is for the P2 car.

i did, did,nt i?

always do this on all my cars, looks smart with big dark alloys.
i rub everything with a wire brush and matt black all the suspension parts.
primer the brake parts and blast them with ordinary car spray, you dont need expensive caliper paint.
it goes all over the disc but once driven, it comes off leaving a clean contact area.
it never burns off, ive even used it on my race cars.

so does the 850, V70 P1 and P2 use the same stud pattern on the discs?
or is the P2 a different fitment?

Have a word with Luggy as his mate at DP Autosport works in the milling
industry & showed Niles & myself a new set of discs he grooved himself
at work.

If you were feeling flush you could have 336mm disks !

Check these bad boys out http://www.partsforvolvosonline.com/product_info.php?cPath=52_479_480&products_id=2831

Bit pricey though at £1400 :jaw:

If you look at the online catalogue here:

http://www.brakesinternational.com/

It will give you all the brake dimensions you need to be able to compare them..

thanks pangster, thats a big help.

according to that, the post 2000 P2 V70s discs are 28mm thick and so are mine.
all the other dimensions are the same too, so as long as the stud pattern is the same they will fit.
and i,m sure they are all 5x108mm.

in relation to the v70 kit on nath t5's car, will it fit an 850 straight away or is milling and farting about required?
