how much oil pressure should the t5 have

I was just woundering what psi/bar oil pressure should be for the t5 myne is around 30psi just below 2 bar

ive got oil psi gauge along with boost and volts after crimbo going to get a afr monitor and gauge

Hi Pete - it might be worth speaking to Fletchv70RAWD as he recently fitted oil temp and oil pressure gauges to his - these were the readings he got:

2 bar at Idle and approx 90 deg C going up to about 3 bar at 2000 rpm
4 bar at idle completly cold going up to about 6 bar driving

your pressure will probably change depending on the oil temp as well..

The 2 bar i have is when the car is fully warm after a run and at idel speed just under 1k i was woundering what it is when fully warm

Hi lee i think it cost me all in for the holder and gauges sendor and sandwich plate around £150 the gauge holder you will have to modifie abit to get a perfect fit

As Pangster said a couple of Posts up!!!! . Mine has 143000 on the clock as well !!!!

Although it is the 2435cc ME7 version - don`t think there would be that much difference TBH

The milage is nearly the same as myne 132k and the pressure is the same cheers
