V70 Centre Console

Hi

On looking at some of the Ex-Police V70s around, they mostly look fine but the centre console on the dash is a dissapointment.
For example:

1st piccy, ex-plod

2nd piccy nice SE spec dash.

Does anyone know if they are interchangeable ?

I bought a volvo OEM part from america.... Double din for a pioneer touchscreen head unit!

Now that looks good!

Get the cup holder to replace the plate next to the handbrake (bout £20 off ebay!) and if you feel the need, look at a trim kit!

I'll dig out some piccys and put them on soon!

The dash is the same. The Plod spec is bottom of the range so it doesnnt have the dual climate control and the stereo has been removed and replaced with a blanking plate thats all.

still makes me laugh why plod have all the radios taken out and butcher the dash to fit their stuff in, when in the ambulance service we we still have the radios left in the ambulances and the cars, and all the other equipment we have still goes ont he dash nicely
