Yeah I had some in mine, and they do look great. Right up until two weeks later one of the bulbs stopped workin. I got them off ebay, so I should have known really.

Keep meaning to get some more, but can't be arsed. I just put standards back in for the MOT the other week.

I'm not sure mate, does your car have a bulb out warning message? I know these led bulbs have a different resistance and could make the bulb message light come on

Yes, they are the same fitting as the rears, but, as Richie said, they may put the bulb warning light on

White LED tail lights through a red plastic lense may end up not been red enough.

RED led ones though would be cool...

on my cars the sidelights aren't monitored by the resistance circuit..no idea why. I can only assume your car is the same?

If it the same as a T5, they are H3's.

I got mine from the seller gxxled on ebay. They have the leds facing forward, and leds around the edge to get more coverage.

But the ones stainesy has got give off exactly the same effect mine did.hey're definately better looking than standard bulbs. I see cars all the time with our type sidelights and can't help thinking they look really dreary.

I've also got white leds in my rear number plate illumination. Got them from halfrauds (bloody expensive, but they're still workin).

Anyway, its a worthwhile upgrade and gives a fresher look.

LOL, I've just dug out the led bulbs I took out, and tested them. Both of them are workin now (instead of just one). So I'll be stickin em back in tomorrow.

Alot of these led's are polatly based, it is possible to put them in the wrong way round, the capless (501's) are the best example.

Nah, these are 207's with the old style metal bayonet fitting, so no chance of them being put in the wrong way. Plus it was working for a bit.

I'm thinking that because of the cheapness of these led bulbs, the bayonet fitting might have been a bit loose, added that the bulb holder might have a bit of oxidisation in it, caused the bulb to stop working. I'm gonna give it a good goin over tomorrow.
