Finally, i have no lambda/emmisions light on the dashboard! Turns out that the air flow meter was reading way off with the cone filter and putting the car in limp home mode whih apparently is only around 195bhp!

So i took it to a friends garage who fitted the standard airbox back on, and reset the fault codes etc and now i'm glad to say i know have 225bhp like i'm meant to!

So it's bye bye cone filter and hello ITG panel filter and possibly an mbc

wish me luck

Hi Luke

Just out of interest, how did you have your cone filter mounted ?

I'm looking at sticking my OEM box back, but have lent it to someone at the moment !

Cheers

Luke? lol

i made a bracket out of flat aluminium and drilled a hole and screwed it inline where the airflow meter screws into, then had it bolted onto the car body to stop the filter bouncing about
