After a good set of reasonably priced brake pads for my 850r.ideas?

I always stick OEM on my cars.
I don't like the feel of the aftermarket pads.

volvo- 40 odd quid

volvo police spec- slightly more i think

ferodo DS- 80 odd

ferodo DS2500- 120 odd

carbotech XP8- 160 odd

dixcell- 160-180

only used the police spec and the dixcells on a volvo myself. the police spec are pretty good for the road. if i was on standard discs again, i'd happily get the dixcells or carbotechs.

depends what kind of use they'll get.

only difference between standard and police pads, are police pads have wear markers, apart from that they are standard and not worth the money,

not a definitive answer but someone i know has had both, standard and police spec and said it was obvious the police ones would dust more, suggesting a different compound.

i've used EBC greenstuff on my old car and they were absolute crap. forget fading after multiple stops, just stopping from highish speed had them fading mid brake.

i think i have redstuff on my car right now with the BBK. haven't pushed the car hard with these on so would be pointless giving my view on them.
