Whats the correct Steering fluid to use ?

Some guy told me its similar to brake fluid is that right or is his name jack Anory ?

My steering seemed to be seized this morning but it turns out theres hardly any fluid in it, just hope i dont have a leak somewhere :(

to be honest i'm not entirely sure, but its most likely going to be between the pump and the pipes that lead down to the rack, or the rack itself. have look around and down the side of the pump, if not look underneath around ur sub frame see if theres any down or around there. either way that sealing stuff is worth a go for sure. cheers. Nick.

first place to check is the bottom of the tank, they tend to leak from the spiggot where the hose fits on. and would mean new tank probably required, and is a 2 minute fix
