new induction filter question

HiYa all,

Currently got a BSR induction kit on my T5, but after sniffing round on here, am quite fancying the Apexi power intake, read some good reports on it, but where the heck can i get one from???, searched loads, an for owt jap, its no prob getting one, but for a 850 T5 then........?????.

just get a universal one from ebay and then get some pipe reducers from the same place.

if you want specific sizes you could send tony-t5 a PM on T5D5 as he's done this. have to admit, out of the cars i saw at the RR meet a couple of weeks ago his sounded the absolute bolox.

in addition to the universal apexi induction kit - you'll also need an adaptor like this:

then you need a silicone hose to go from this to the MAF.. if you're not sure of the diameter required - just poop the air box off and measure the diameter of the MAF - that will be the ID of the silicone hose you need (at one end) at the other measure the adaptor..

I should have kept the Apexi from my MR2 - I knew it would have came in handy one day! lol!!

The hardest bit will be working out how you're going to shield it from the engine heat..

you can't find him?.. lol! - you can't MISS him on T5D5 it's about the only Volvo forum he's not banned from.. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:... it's probably easier to look in Event Horizon for his posts as that's where most of them end up! :)
