ive just noticed you get 850 turbo diesels.what are these like as theres one for sale on autotrader and its quite close to me.im thinking about one of these to replace the 440 i bought while im between jobs as i cant keep putting petrol in my t5..

yeah they are very sound reliable engines, however is obviously nowhere near as advanced as the later D5 units and do have the usual noise etc of older diesel engines, altho if your after a reliable economy based second car, i think it would suit the job very well. how many miles it done? service history etc.??

230.000.just been serviced.1300quid.does that seem a bit pricey?

thats the only problem with most 850 tdi there high milage i dont know much about wat there worth but you can always make an offer to what you feel is right

yea i would say that is a bit pricey for that millage, definatly don't pay over a thousand for it.

Am i right in thinking the 850 TDI was powered by an Audi Diesel ?

My old mans Audi 80 diesel had 300+k on it and was still going strong ;)

yes i beleive it is the VAG TDI in the 850

Isn't it the VAG 5 pot out of the LT van? or is that 700 series that used that
