white was a top option and i,m now wishing i,d had the balls to go for it instead of anthrasite :doh:

this 94 supertourer is currently for sale in sweden on www.racecarsdirect.com
fitted with a brand new 425bhp T5 lump and touring car gearbox.
its up for 28500 (not sure what currency) and i want it...

as far as i was aware that car was the original TWR test car, so whats it doing with a turbo lump init? rekon someones done a swap or am i barking up the wrong tree?

interesting that they've put what looks like sponge on the power steering lid. i had heard it was a common problem on track where the fluid boils and then a little comes out of the top. then i experienced it myself.

the intercooler piping is pure sex in my eyes!

the BTCC one was naturally aspirated. the pic that TC has shown has a turbo. wether they're on the same chassis or not, dunno.

it was built about 16 years ago so most parts will have been changed if its been used since 94.
i,d personally rather have a 425bhp turbo than a 280bhp N/A.
i bet the engines been replaced by something cheaper, a new supertouring engine costs around £40K.

thats if this is the original test-car...
