Has anyone ever seen a short shift kit for the S/C/V70 range??? If so, how much and where from???

I used to have one on my Scoob, and felt brilliant compared to the standard throw ;)

I want to get one and the short ram air kit from IPD - so maybe next year when pennies allow we could do a bulk order (save on shipping)

Good idea WD! - It might be worth giving Ron on here a shout (username: Ron@IPD) to see what he could arrange for any potential group buy. He'll also be able to arrange shipping through USPS which isn't available through their website (and is muchos cheaper! lol!) he might even be able to through in a cheeky wee discount! lol! :)

I just fancy a change from the panel filter - so long as it doesnt destroy MAF sensors!!

I don't think they will work as they are completely different iirc.. might be best contacting the suppliers directly and confirming or asking if they make the correct kit.. :)

should be fine as it's a dry filter iirc?.. I ran an Apexi induction kit (dry filter also) in my MR2 for over 4 years without any ill effects! :) ..

is there much point to a short shift on stupid front wheel drive,
surely its still gona use the same soppy cables etc,
the cables between the lever & gearbox can only move so fast despite how fast your moving the stick. :)

there would be some benefit in fitting a short shift kit as it reduces the throw (physical distance) required to change gears (as the pivot point changes).. if you upgrade the bushes on the lower tie bar (to make it solid) and upgrade the bushes on the shifter cables (from rubber to solid brass or ball bearing types) then there isn't really a lot of play/slack left and the gear changes should be quicker, more direct and smoother.. :)

The short RAM has landed (in the UK). I am wondering if I will regret this - Hamish was not impressed with the size? I will give it a whirl on the dyno and see what is what.
