sorry to disappoint guys but i don't believe for one second that my car produces that figure.

it was an enjoyable day and the guys there were very helpful but i'm not producing that figure.

the only thing you can compare really is how the car compared to the other cars there, same day same dyno.

oh, walter, ringmeister? i truly wish!!:D

T4's tend to overshoot standard figs, jacquelines was over standard when we had it at DASTEK years ago for a unichip, it made 15-20 over standard on the "before" run up and they could only get 9 extra bhp out of it

they removed the hardware and refused to charge us for any work that would only yield 9bhp, it's around 400 bhp now mnind you, but the credit lies elsewhwere for that lol.

glad you all had a good day

interesting what you say about the S40 Ross.

the spec of my car can be found over in the garage on T5D5

http://forums.t5d5.org/index.php?&autocom=registry&cmd=view_item&CID=57

i've actually come home just now having hooked up with some friends of friends. a couple of integra type Rs, an EVO fq330, supercharged mazda mx-5 and a BMW Z3M(the breadvan coupe thingy). went out for a "tunnel run".

although we didn't try anything from a launch, my car would have been the slowest one there without a shadow of a doubt. what we did do though was start from 60ish.

i was quicker then the ITRs but held the EVO and Z3M all the way to 130(obviously km/h:nut:). this wasn't done once but at least 4 or 5 times.

most cars had a driver and a passenger, including mine. what that says about the power of my car i don't know, don't really care, i'm just enjoying the car.

it tells me you have a very bloody quick car with WELL OVER 300bhp

or that the combined weight of irf and his passenger is about 10 kg:lol:

a T5 estate has got to be loads heavier than an EVO or Z3M so that makes it even more impressive
get used to it irf, stop being so conservative

on T5D5 Jod, it's not pretty though lol. there's a couple of "holes" but should be easy to sort out.

personally, on a dyno dynamics rolling road(ie. real figures) i reckon i'd be quite close to 300bhp or maybe just slightly over.

What map do you have on your car irf? Is it custom or off the shelf?

irf

custom justin. done by an individual person, not a trader, doesn't want his name bandied about but am pretty confident you know who i'm talking about:)

LOL, you know it as well as i do Russ, the dyno dynamics rollers are heartbreakers, or should that be ego deflators:firedevil but the only ones that should be believed for true figures IMHO.

won't have any more runs unless i do something to the car and that won't be happening anytime soon.

would rather get a diff:duck: make the car quick everywhere(thats the wife chucking a brick at me lol)

I am very happy with DD RR figures it made me smile both times i have been on :B_thumb:

I would do a back to back run before you do anything more :) You will like the diff :)

Just keep the wife in the dark ;-)

i know where you're coming from Russ.

the last time the car was on a rolling road it was on a dyno dynamics roller. then it made 278bhp and since then the cars had headwork done to it and an external boost controller. don't think anything else has been done.

hence my thoughts of about 300bhp on a dyno dynamics roller:smile:

having said all that, it still applies that on the same day on the same rollers the car performed pretty bloody well so very happy with that.

Irf, im glad you were happy with the results, i would be well impressed to get 300 out of a 850, whatever the mods....
As you will be aware i am not a avid T5D5 viewer and as such i would appreciate a link to the graph, Thanks...
Cheers

irf just a few points ,, firstly if you think it is over by 40 bhp then that makes everyone elses car over by 40 bhp ,, firstly mine on a dyno dynamics made 310 bhp and 335 lb,s torque , as you know mine at powerstation made 315 bhp and 355lb,s torque, so not alot of difference there but seriously bud accept it the head work and the map from cough cough (lol) well done that man ,,has and does make your car produce a genuine 340 bhp give or take 5 bhp,,,, anyway was a awesome day with some awesome cars there

yeah, new cars are stupidly heavy.

i think the estates are heavier then the saloon and it'll also depend on option levels. aircon, electric windows, seats etc.

my car has the 850R seats and they are fapping heavy! i think someone told me that they had weighed one at 36kg! for one seat!!! be good to know what the half leather weighs
