New Suspension needed

I think the front suspension on my car is on its way out. Lots of banging and crashing coming from that area. I drove my dads t5 back from London the other day and it was so much smoother than mine and the handling was much better too.

When mine got serviced at RT's Russ said a lot needed doing. So Basically whats my options? I want better suspension than standard as the handling is what really lets my car down. Is it going to cost me a fortune? Any work will be done at Russ's and I might get it Rica'd at the same time.

Any advice is greatly recieved.

Start with the drop links as that made a big difference on mine. These are a common item to replace.They dont cost much and are very easy to do.
