X reg P2 T5 from a dealer with a warranty and 130k...so private it's going to be worth about £2k no more i'd say unless you are lucky

I would say maybe more if its a manual as most are Gaytronic, plus it has extras ie zaust and dvd, although the miles are against I would say put if up for £2995 or £2750 and take £2.5k! Heres probably your best starting point! I was looking at a glasses last week and that was value of a w reg se @ aprox 2200 trade 3200 retail! So just shows how quick they are droping!
I know Im keeping mine as it attractive to me with normalish road tax being pre 01

the prices are dropping like you wouldnt believe on all cars over 2ltr

i have been watching the autotrader for a while now as was toying with changing my car for something newer.....the guide prices are just THAT a GUIDE...ask any car salesman the market controls the prices and right now most people want small economical cars so the bigger engined cars (regardless of age) are all dropping

i was chatting with a good friend of mine on monday who runs a local car sales place, he says he's never seen anything like it just now, untill recently all he sold was high end used cars mostly around the £10/15k price BUT recently he's started selling smaller engine cars around the 1.4 ltr engine size as the big car market (ANYTHING over 2 ltr) is on it's arse

you can buy a 1999 Audi A8 4.2 for £3k now, ditto BMW 540i sport and BMW 740i both same year 1999 for £3k all cars three above are on garage forecourts with warranty and a years MOT

it's a buyers market if you dont care about fuel economy , i dont as i only do 5k per year in my cars

just keep an eye on the 'trader it's the only true way to gauge it

Your probably right then everything has took a tumble, bargains earlier in the year are way overpriced now!
