Have a '99 V70 T5 that has just had the auto box totally rebuilt and a new torque converter fitted to the tune of £2100!!! STA in Aylesbury did it and fitted a new radiator whist they were at it (the cause of the problems with the gearbox I think) - to be fair they have done a top job and it drives fantastically. That is until the orange engine management light has now come on permanently. The idle seems a bit lumpy but nothing obviously wrong. Any ideas on what it might be and likely cost? Any help appreciated. (ps is the car ok to drive whilst this light is on?)

thanks all.

Could be a faulty MAF sensor, but you will need to get the codes read to be sure. I would be taking it back to STA to get this done free of charge.

Can't do anything until you have had the management interogated for codes..

MAF or ETM i would be guessing..
