OK stuck in a bit of a quandry here need help.

Here goes - our C70 T5 GT needs a new set of boots question is which boots do I go for

Michelin Pilot (something or others) on a deal at costco (20% off for 4) £370 fitted

Goodyear F1 GSD3's £370 fitted, got these on my Scooby & can't fault them at all, Wet weather performance in particular seems excellent (resistant to aquaplaning etc...)

Or Something Else .......

Looking to Spend a Max of £370 (inc fitting)

Tyres are 225/45 17" & XL load rated

Thoughts anyone

I have Goodyear F1 Eagles on my S70 and cannot believe there is anything better, exellent in the dry but they come into there own in the wet. Only thing I have noticed is that on some road surfaces, a fair bit of road noise.

I have Falken 512s on mine which are a good budget make. Paid £50 each from Camskill in the 205/45/17W category.

Sounds interesting Jonno - Why do they swap the tyres on imported cars?

Is it because they are not type approved for use within the EU?

I had Vredestein Sportrac3's fitted to the front for the wet winter, best in upper mid price range imo.

I've just had my second set of Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta's fitted. All four corners for 360 balanced and fitted. (225/45/17) on my 1999 C70

They are awesome

never tried Vredesteins.. but might try them at some point on the C70.. as for Toyo's those are generally regarded as a very good tire.. at least on Jap machinery! lol! - I've come to the conclusion that just because a tyre is good on one car, doesn't mean to say it'll be good on another.. :)

Hi

Ive tried both and dont think you will go far wrong with either, although the Goodyear seem a little harder to source up this way!, are they being phased out?.

I've got 2 sets. the quality of the 19s from the states was not that good. They already need to be refurbed but with being over here, buying a house and other things - it is at the bottom of the list.
