Pretty common yes, but if you dont get any smoke as per standard tune, you will need to add some more fuel to match the increased air...

What fitting the mbc or increasing the fueling ?

fitting the mbc. my cv system always runs at -25Hg and when the ecu decides to dump boost the vacuum pipe to the bov reads -25Hg there is no gradiation so how do you fit an mbc into this system, if I was to set it to dump when at -25Hg (the only vacuum reading I can get then the mbc won't actually change anything)

Ahh you have the vacuum operated boost control system on the S40, much like VW uses.

In which case, you will need a tuning box or remap.
