engine cut out while going along the a47

was on my way to norich and the engine decided to cough (cut out ) for about half a second then came to life only did it once on the way and again on the way back any ideas what it was the car is running ok i think apart from some turbo lag while im doing 60 ish it ll cut out and in every now and then
any ideas?

Could be an Ignition fault, or a fuelling problem.

You could check your fuel pump relay for dry joints.
