R pins on the speedo

I just fitted these onto an old Speedo I have, what do you think? This is a trial just now, I really like it I think these will look good on the V70R Speedo with the chrome counter surrounds the pics dont do them justice. There stuck on with white RTV and any residue that has come out the side will get painted black or blue with a CD marker pen. If you look at the R under the rev counter you will see the leg has slightly bent this is were I had it in the vice to tight but I’m sure it will straighten, I'll leave them for 5 days then give them a poke to see if they'll stay in place fingers x.

I think i seen somewhere on here before that someone put them on the V70 clocks and they looked really smart !

The 850 Clocks ? I'm not too sure to be honest. It think it would grow on me ;)

There going onto the V70 clocks this was just a trial in case I wrecked my Speedo the pictures make the R's look ruff I thinks its just the reflection though

I got them from from mickhoon when i bought the cluster rings from him he knew i was after them so he just gave me them saved me allot of money IPD do them and cost a lot to get shipped over here

Yeah I was going to paint it black if I drilled it there would be even less area for the adhesive to take a hold.

I think the 850 clocks are a bit to flat for the pins but the V70’s have more contours and they shouldn’t stand out as much.

Taken the dash out is easy its a 10min job the 850 and V70 are almost identical have done it a few times on the 850 over the years and haven’t broke anything. I had the top off the V70 cuz there was an annoying squeak coming from under there.

Do you mean the S60R dials? If so that’s were I got the idea from the S60R ones do look better but this is the best I can do these are simply just cuff links lol the S60 ones are smaller too. I will take pictures of both Speedos when I finish my ones so you can compare them.
