intermittent heater fan operation ?

hiya chaps, hope someone can help

the fan on my heater somtimes works and then sometimes it doesn't and the ac and recirculating light just blink on and off

with the winter approaching it would be good to have this working consistently


any ideas ?

second hand replacement fans are available and relatively cheap (and easy to fit - with the right tools).

It may just be as simple as a faulty switch/ fan control. The fan may be in working order. Id go for the switch gear first to get checked over or replace then the fan.
