Hi all, it's getting close to service time again and last year a very kind chap who's name forget on the VOC forum lent me his reset tool, is he still around or is there anybody else who could lend me a tool?.

Hi Mike, no mines silver I've not seen saffron one around the bay, my light has'nt come on yet I'm due a service at the end of November so I'd like to take you up on the offer then?.

hi steve, mines silver too, not seen any other ones around. no problem with the reset did my own ok . how good is your handbrake, mines not too clever im going to have to take it all in bits and sort it out once and for all, cheers mike

Can I ask if you know where I can buy a reset tool / code reader from and what they usually cost?

my service light is also needs doing.

mine was a couple of grand, but its for the garage and it does a few makes and models. it still dont do it all but none do. i have vag com too thats quite good but not much help here

Don't think I paid that much for mine(£30-40), however it was just a service light reset tool.

Hi BigV,

Sorry did we not reset the light when we changed your Cambelt? If your passing drop in anytime and I'll do it.

If you want a reset tool of your own we can get you 1. IIRC it costs around £85. It will reset service and SRS lights on 96-98 Volvo S/V40,S/V/C70, 850, V90, etc

Hi Mike, my hand brakes fine but it is an auto, when I replaced all the disces I adjusted the hand brake shoes which may have improved it.

I did see a Saffron S70 R in Liddles car park friday!.

I'll be in touch when I've done my service next month.

Nope, light is still on.....

I am sure I will be around you way soon anyway, as the ABS light is starting to drive me crazy as well, its like a bloody disco light at times!!!
