abs ecu and pump

evening.iv just bought an ecu and pump of ebay that was promised to be ok.but after fitting it my abs light is still on.should it go out right away or does it take a while?the abs isnt working either.

Did you get the codes read before and after? It could be that you have a genuine fault elsewhere or that you have bought a duff ECU and pump. Adam at readview would have been your best bet as he would have checked it prior to sending out at a decent price..
