Regular users of Phase 2 models threads will see that I'm having a few issues with my S60 T5. None of them are show stoppers, but the overall effect is detracting from the ownership experience. They are tracking/suspension and locking/alarm related. I could take the plung and visit a main dealer, but my preference would be to find a local specialist that I can strike up a long term relationship with. I'm looking to keep this car for a few years (it's done 50k miles with FSH and I'm the third owner) so it'll need servicing/MOT once per year and cambelt at some point in a few years. I live in West Reading (Tilehurst) not far from J12 on the M4 and am hoping someone can recommend a decent Volvo mechanic (preferable with diagnostics equipment) local to me. Any suggestions please?

Is Witney (Oxon) to far for you? I've always used D&A and found them to be very good.

My local search has led me to a guy called Ian at Reading Autogas. He claims to have all the volvo diagnostic equipment and only charges £45 per hour labour. He specialises in Volvo (and Mercs) and sounds like he can fix anything! has anyone used him before? Is he the real deal?
