I think the offside front wheel bearing is done on my V70. I have a rubbing sound with left lock on.

I am aware that the bearing comes as part of the hub and new stretch bolts should be used.

Can anyone tell me how easy this job is to do. Anyone done it? Guides?

The bearing is part of the hub.

I'll assume your on a FWD v70, probably a phase 2.

Get a garage to do it! The hub/bearing is not a job to bodge at any time!

From what I'm told, it's not too hard to sort, but as said, one for a spanner chucker!

£70 on ebay just now...

did mine on an 850t5 few weeks back no real problems, was handy as had done the cv rubbers not that long before so hub came of without to much agro. That would i think be the only real problem getting the hub off the axle as in say doing the cv rubbers/cv joint etc.If you feel reasonably competent with spanners you should'nt have any real problems.Got mine from BRAYDONS they said no point/need in changing the 4 bolts.Think parts were bout £65 iirc.If the hub wont come of a 3 legged hydraulic puller does the business £50 upwards on ebay,i borrowed one but i'm gonna buy one.
