Thanks to Andrew (Niles) I had my first paid job today :)

It was just a wash, polish, wax & interior clean on a Renault Megane Cabrio.

The paintwork was difficult to work with as it was obvious that it had a
respray at some time due to particles in the paint.

The whole car was also covered in scratches & swirls :cussing:

Here's a few pics of the car on arrival :-

The inner arches, wheels & sills were soaked in Megs Apc.
Then the car washed washed using Megs Gold Class & a washmitt before being rinsed.

The car was dried using Sonus drying towels.

The wheels were cleaned using Carlack Mag Wheel Cleaner & A Megs wheel brush.

The roof had green patches & these were treated with a mild solution of Megs Apc
which removed around 80% & could do with doing again to be honest.

Car all nice & reasonably clean :-

When the car was dry,it was polished using CG Scratch & Swirl Remover on a finishing
pad.Due to the suspect repaint, only surface scratches were removed.

The interior was pretty clean already so just needed a vacuum. The trim was cleaned using AG Trim & Vinyl cleaner &
CG New Look Trim Gel (this was also used on the tyres). The glass was cleaned using Megs Glass Cleaner.

The exterior paint was treated to a couple of coats of Clearkote Yellow Moose Wax.

Clothes used were the bargain Costo Microfibres.

Here are the afters (shame the sun went in).

Total work time was approx 4hrs & many thanks to my neighbour Sandra for mucking in
with the glass & interior duties.

Hope you enjoy the end results as much as the customer who promptly drove
straight to show her daughter :p

Thanks for looking :B_thumb:

Yes mate - she only lived a couple of miles away so it was easier
to bring the car back to mine.

If i get serious about this line of work i would need a van, power, water
etc.

So local jobs suit me on a part time basis.
