My C70t5 doesn't have the computer telling you all the mpg etc, but i've just had a look on one of those mpg calculators on the interweb (wish I hadn't now) The red light was on again so I put £20 in, i've probably done about 100-110ish miles, which works out about 25mpg. Is that about right?
I hope the wife doesn't read this. :hidesbehi
What is the normal mpg for one of these cars?
cheers, Dan

just had a look at the fuel saving tips on that website, I might flick the headlights off, I might get it up to 30mpg then.

T5's are not known for the frugalness. I have managed 30mpg once in a stock 850 on 97 ron, 55mph for 180 miles :D
18-22 was 'normal' depending on season.

On my short run to work (3 miles) I get about 21 mpg. On longer runs it is about 34mpg. I drove 20 miles the other day at a constant 60 mph and saw 42mpg! The mpg is far more than I was expecting when I bought the car.

I usually run mine on shell optimax cos it seems a bit crisper on the throttle, but ive never seen any difference in mpg between it & normal unleaded

To be honest I did guess at the mileage that I'd done so I might have been a bit optimistic with the 110miles. I'm glad I haven't got the computer or I wouldn't be able to concentrate on driving.
That 7.6mpg is a good effort:rally_dri, is that just for one trip or the whole tank?:hail:

drove `165 miles on saturday and alot of it was motorway and averaged 32mpg
theres a 50mph limit on part of the M1 that is 9 miles so a total of 18 miles were below 50mph the rest was 70mph :)

I think it's a 2000 (v reg), I think mine is a cheap model, it's not got the trip computer or heated seats but I wasn't really bothered. I liked the cream leather and was far to excited to own one. If i'd have waited till now i'd have got one a lot cheaper:bullwhip::stupid:

The first R reg C70's where only T5 GT's I think which had everything.
Then came a Normal T5 and T5 GT later in the year.
Mine was a T5, no info centre, no heated seats, no dolby etc.
